At this year’s leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics – Automatica 2022 in Munich, our strategic partner Kassow Robots unveiled its new EDGE series of controllers for collaborative robots.
The entire controller fits underneath the robot base and is powered by DC. This makes the arm-controller combo ideal for super-mobile applications based on cobot arms placed on autonomous AGVs (and the like). The second purpose of the solution is for applications where the robotic arm must often be moved from place to place, making the whole operation easier (due, among other things, to the lack of the need to rewire).
