With a majority stake in Danish cobot specialist Kassow Robots, Bosch Rexroth has caused a big surprise on the robotics scene, the Automationspraxis portal summarizes Bosch Rexroth’s latest decision.
Bosch Rexroth said in a press release dated March 21, 2022 that it is expanding its collaborative robot portfolio to include Kassow Robots’ 7-axis cobots. The acquisition of a majority stake in Kassow Robots, it reads, enables Bosch Rexroth to offer comprehensive solutions, especially for the consumer goods and mobility industries, including battery manufacturing, as well as semiconductor manufacturing.
