Strong – Fast – Simple. It is more than the philosophy of Kassow Robots

In line with the claim “POWERFUL, FAST, EASY TO OPERATE,” the KR team has developed extremely powerful, lightweight, 7-axis industrial cobots. Our collaborative robots are extremely fast and powerful while maintaining their long reach. Their small size allows them to be used in confined spaces or in areas where the use of a robot was previously not possible. Thanks to the ease of programming (dragging blocks on a touchscreen tablet), now also small and medium-sized companies are able to achieve complex levels of automation economically and without having to hire very expensive specialists.

Why are Kassow Robots “POWERFUL?”

The three sizes of drives in the first Kassow Robots, KR 810 and KR1205, have a torque of 50Nm, 118Nm and 236Nm. They are paired with extremely strong robot arms. As a result, we are able to achieve extremely high speeds and arm ranges, even with heavy loads.

Why are Kassow Robots “FAST?”

KR robots are strong because of their high power. That same power also allows them to reach high speeds. Our robots reach speeds in joints of up to 225 degrees per second in all 7 axes. It is by far the fastest cobot we can find on the market today.

Why are Kassow Robots “EASY TO OPERATE?”

Our cobots are easy to operate even for companies that do not have a team of highly skilled roboticists. And that’s because we chose the intuitive and user-friendly tablet technology that we are all familiar with from everyday devices.

The control panel has a graphical interface with standard touch-screen drag-and-drop functions. The programmer literally drags commands with his finger, creating a list of tasks for the robot to perform. This way, we can even create advanced programs with logic gates, conditional branching and loops. In this way, workers can operate the robots themselves, programming simple tasks after the initial familiarization with the control.
