The FMCG industry in Poland has grown tremendously in recent years. Statistics show that from March 2020 to March 2021, the market grew by more than 4 percent, which is a very good result for such a short period. According to major auditing firms, the value of the entire FMCG industry in Poland is now valued at more than PLN 201 billion. What exactly is it and what does this particular industry offer?

The FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry is a term for fast moving consumer goods. It primarily includes food products such as candy bars, snacks, dairy products, frozen foods, ready meals, and beverages and juices. In the simplest terms, then, we can say that the FMCG industry is concerned with the provision of necessities. They are ubiquitous. They can be found both in a neighborhood store, a discount store and in a large supermarket. The demand for fast-moving goods has always been there and will always be there, so in terms of technology for their production, packaging and transportation it is worth betting on proven solutions.

The FMCG industry, and COVID

Although it seemed that the coronavirus pandemic would slow down the growth of the FMCG sector, in fact the situation was just the opposite. During the pandemic, the fastest-growing food categories were primarily dry goods, as well as dairy products. In 2020, cooking and baking products (flour, milk and oils) were of particular interest to consumers. As statistics show, the value of the FMCG market is growing year after year, and there is no indication that anything can disrupt this trend. FMCG tycoons no longer include not only huge corporations, but also small, sometimes even local companies.

Such a dynamic industry as FMCG requires state-of-the-art solutions, so it’s worth equipping your production facility with innovative automation and robots. These are what make the process of manufacturing and packaging FMCG products so efficient never before. Steps such as packaging and palletizing are some of the most monotonous activities that are carried out in a manufacturing plant. So there is nothing to prevent them from being performed by a properly optimized machine. As part of our activities, we are engaged in providing automatic machines for manufacturing needs. In addition to this, we also offer employee training and automation of production lines in such a way that the implemented processes for the FMCG industry can be carried out safely and as efficiently as possible.

In addition to equipping your facility with modern machinery and equipment, it’s also worth remembering the right mix of qualified employees. The FMCG industry is an area where, among others, marketers, salespeople, warehousemen and logisticians will find employment. Only a properly selected workforce will guarantee even faster development of the FMCG area in Poland.
